4。关系词的省略

6。非限制性定语从句

定语从句分为限制性和非限制性。限制性定语从句是先行词不可缺少的一部分，去掉后会使整个句子的意思不明确，所以不能用逗号隔开；非限制性定语从句是整个句子中相对较为独立的一部分，对先行词起附加说明的作用，常用逗号与主句隔开。hose，which都能引导非限制性定语从句，但that不能。

Thenovel，whichIboughtyesterday，isveryiing。

Theworkers，whohavebeenlaidoff，arealookingforanewjob。

7。定语从句与同位语从句的区别

以that引导的同位语从句，在形式上与that引导的定语从句类似。但是，定语从句对先行词进行修饰和限制，先行词可以是任何名词，that可以省略或用其他关系词；而同位语从句则对先行词进行解释或补充说明，先行词只能是抽象名词，引导词只能用that。例如：
